Microphone access starts when you start recording or a microphone test and allow permission. Capture stops when you stop or leave that tool.

Your session and preferences

Files, previews, edits and results stay in memory in this tab. Downloading does not clear them. Clearing the workspace removes them; refreshing, closing the tab or browser memory reclamation loses the session. Downloaded files stay where you save them. Only your chosen language is saved in local storage; documents are never stored there.

Tool category, search and scroll preferences are saved in session storage for this tab; they contain no audio or file data.

Hosting and tracking

This site uses Cloudflare hosting and Web Analytics for delivery, security, performance and visit statistics. Cloudflare can receive your IP address, request headers and page-performance data. Audio contents and file names are not sent to analytics. Speech recognition and vocal separation models are downloaded from this site and may be cached by your browser. Audio processing stays on your device. There are currently no ads. Browser and operating system memory management is outside this website’s control.
